Application Instructions

The application and review process includes the following:

• Students should be able to submit proof of Hunter College or Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College's admission of full-time student status.
• On-campus interviews and placement exams are required.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee. Each year, 25 qualified students are admitted.

To apply, students must send the application form with the supporting documents to: Chinese Flagship Center, HW1429, Hunter College, 695 Park Ave, NY, NY 10065.

The following documentation and/or information is required to complete the application:

• College transcripts (incoming freshmen should submit four-year high school transcripts)
• SAT scores (Unofficial copy acceptable)
• Statement of purpose (500 words in English)
• Chinese language proficiency exams and scores (if applicable)
• Two letters of recommendation
